The paintings in this gallery were done by my wife, Donna.  There's a great story about how she began painting, but for now...please just enjoy the art.  

BTW, she does take commissions for pet art. 

Donna and I volunteer for a nonprofit organization called Splashes of Hope. For some time now, she has been painting “feel good” hot air balloons with uplifting messages and images. These balloons accompany large murals installed in hospitals, children's wards, treatment rooms, veterans’ homes, etc. 

The murals are designed to comfort patients during treatment, healing and recovery and other stressful situations by providing a soothing and uplifting visual focus. The art is designed to address the unique needs of the patients, their families and the staff that cares for them.

The Splashes of Hope mission is “from clinical to colorful.”
